Can you play Super Mario Bros. Wii online with friends?

I wanted to get Super Mario Bros. Wii for Christmas, and wanted to know, can you play multiplayer online like you can with Mario Kart Wii? I wanted to know because my friend and I have only one game that we can play together over the internet. Please help! Thank You!|||There will be a sign/bubble in the corner of the box that says Wi-Fi Compatible if you can, if you cannot find one of those signs/bubbles it has no Wi-Fi capabilities.|||Yeah you can but you need Wire Less or Wire or Ethernet to do it
